Look at Hamas and see how it is done.

So far as I know, only Radio Free Israel had noticed that Hamas has acquired a deep water port free of the Israeli blockade. They did it behind smoke and mirrors: the smoke of hundreds of rockets smashing into Israel to the North and the mirrors of the "humanitarian crisis" all of which riveted the attention of the Israelis. While the Israeli government is still busy patting itself on the back for having successfully blunted the international diplomatic and media mugging over the poor Palestinians Hamas massed 300000 civilians to flood the border when the government of Gaza finished demolishing the fence separating the Gaza portion of Rafah from the Egyptian portion.

The did that with acetylene torches, over some days, and with explosives and bulldozers.

Behind the swarm of people, it seems, Hamas gunmen went straight to the port and took it over and are busy unloading undisclosed cargo. I shudder to think wnat the cargo is. Katyushas capable of hitting the refinery and port at Ashdod? It enters Gaza now, not via tunnels but by truck. Rafah is sovereign Egyptian territory. So for Israel to blockade Rafah would be an act of war against Egypt but so far, Egypt is not interfering with Hamas. That means that Hamas now has a port that is beyond the reach of the Israelis.

Is Egypt a party to the maneuver? Well, Egyptian soldiers beat up many of the civilians swarming the border and even shot some. Then, however, they just sat by and watched. It realy doesn't matter, however. I expect that Egypt will not interfere, as long as Hamas continues to fly the Egyptian flag over Rafah and that Egypt will use the Hamas take-over of Rafah as a basis to demand further amendment of the "Peace" treaty with Israel to allow for many more Egyptian military units and heavier armaments on Israel's borders.

Notice that Hamas did it with skill, planning, determination, power and perhaps with the cooperation of the Egyptian government. They did not do it with school girls singing patriotic songs or school boys with placards. Stop waiting for Shas to leave the government and for someone else to bring the government down. All that will do is to replace Olmert with Livni or Ramon or another of their ilk. Nothing will change except the names on the doors and, of course, the Volvos in the parking lot. If we want the government of Israel to change, we have to change it. Not 300,000 but 500,000 Israelis have to surround the Knesset, night and day, and declare that no one may leave the building until the IDF is sent to retake the territory of the PA and destroy all the terrorist organizations, including the PLO, and kill all the terrorists who don't manage to flee fast enough; no one may leave until the entire government system is taken down and replaced: the coalition, the Knesset, the courts the manner of election of MK;s and appointment of judges.

The problem is that our "government" is busy negotiating with us, advocating the position of the PLO. No one represents Israel. No one acts for the benefit of Israel, We have no government on our side. Who can organize such a thing?

ISRAELNATIONALNEWS.COM (Arutz 7) Published the following report:

Transfer of Arabs Enjoys Strong Support
21:19 Feb 15, '05 / 6 Adar 5765

A survey showing a plurality of Israelis in favor of the transfer of at least part of the Arab population of Samaria/Gaza was suppressed for a month ? until WorldNetDaily demanded its release.

The poll was commissioned by Mishalot Yisrael, a group formed to assess public opinion regarding Prime Minister Sharon's disengagement plan. It was carried out by Mutagim, a large Israeli polling company, on Jan. 12 ? and was released only yesterday.

Almost 400 respondents were asked whether they "prefer the 'Sharon/Peres Disengagement Plan,' which stipulates the transfer of Gaza and Northern Shomron to Palestinian control and the expulsion of all Jews who live there ? or do they prefer a plan known as the 'Jewish Alternative Disengagement Plan,' which includes the Israeli annexation of these territories and the expulsion of the Arabs living there to an area outside Israel."

The results showed that 39% of the general Israeli population favor the latter plan, while 37% favor Sharon's plan.

Mutagim refused to release the survey results, claiming that a question was entered late and the company was only able to interview 397 people instead of the 511 originally planned. The company offered to conduct another survey for free. Yekutiel Ben-Yaakov, director of Mishalot Yisroel, told WorldNetDaily that he demanded the release of the poll results. "The polling companies are afraid. They don't want to put anything out that shows the Israeli people would rather kick out the Palestinians and not evacuate the Jews," Ben-Yaakov said.

WND reports that following its inquiries and article, Mutagim "suddenly rushed to Ben-Yaakov the official poll results showing Israelis favor booting the Palestinian population. "

Other polls on this topic, including two conducted by Mutagim, found opposite results, however. One showed a 49-27 margin in favor of Sharon's plan, another was 39-31 in the same direction, and a Geocartographic Institute survey showed 44-31 in favor of Sharon's plan.

On the other hand, Arutz-7 reported several months ago that an October 2004 survey commissioned by Channel 2 TV showed that 58% of adults aged 18-22 support the transfer of Arabs, while 26.4% believe that the late Rabbi Meir Kahane was correct in his call to expel the Arabs. A third of those polled believe that Kach should be declared a legal party once again.

In addition, a survey carried out in June of last year by Haifa University's National Security Research Center indicates that over 55% of the Jewish public feels that Israeli-Arabs are a threat to national security.
